Course 345: Cyber Security in the GC and Wireless Communications

Description

Wireless communications are an integral part in today’s business environment. However, along with convenience comes risks. This course will explore the security concerns inherent to wireless communications and how we can adopt various security strategies to mitigate those risks.

  • Summarize wireless protocols and inherent threats
  • Assess commonly used wireless devices
  • Define specific threat scenarios and defensive measures

Target audience

GC employees at all levels who wish to become more familiar with the cyber security landscape as it relates to wireless communications.

Prerequisites

Prior to attending this course, participants should have a working knowledge of how to use smartphones and computers. We would recommend taking course 107 – Cyber Security for non-IT Employees to satisfy any gap a participant may feel they have in meeting this requirement.
