On September 12, 2023, Mozilla published a security advisory to address a critical vulnerability in the following products:

  • Firefox – versions prior to 117.0.1
  • Firefox ESR – versions prior to 115.2.1 and 102.15.1
  • Thunderbird – versions prior to 115.2.2 and 102.15.1

Mozilla has indicated that CVE-2023-4863 has been exploited.
