SonicWall security advisory

On 23 September 2021 SonicWall published a Security Advisory to address a vulnerability in the following products:

  • SMA 200 – multiple versions
  • SMA 210 - multiple versions
  • SMA 400 - multiple versions
  • SMA 410 - multiple versions
  • SMA 500v (ESX, KVM, AWS, Azure) - multiple versions

Exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an unauthenticated actor to delete an arbitrary file, potentially resulting in a reboot to factory default settings.

The Cyber Centre encourages users and administrators to review the provided web link and apply the necessary updates.
