On 28 May 2020 Cisco released a security update to address vulnerabilities in SaltStack, a third-party component of:

  • Cisco Modeling Labs Corporate Edition (CML)
  • Cisco Virtual Internet Routing Lab Personal Edition (VIRL-PE)

Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow an actor to bypass authentication or traverse directories.
