Secure Communications User Group: COMSEC in the World of COVID-19

The Secure Communications User Group (SCUG) brings together subject matter experts to share knowledge on topics related to COMSEC, IT Security, and Secure Communications.

About

At the Cyber Centre, we know the COMSEC domain is closely related to all elements of IT security and classified communications However, it can be difficult to share information across the IT security space. We also understand the importance of working with government partners across domains of COMSEC and IT Security to develop a collaborative approach to Secure Communications.

This is why the Cyber Centre has created the SCUG.

By attending this virtual user group, the Cyber Centre will be able to provide you with important and tangible information to support your work. This event will also offer you the opportunity to ask questions to and discuss challenges with CSE staff members.

Event theme

The event theme is “COMSEC in the World of COVID-19.” We will discuss new and exciting developments happening in COMSEC, as well as how we can collectively confront the challenges which the COVID-19 pandemic has created for our operations. The event presents a timely opportunity for us to further strengthen our cooperative, forward-looking approach to protecting Canada’s valuable COMSEC material and security systems.
