On 27 July 2021 Foxit published a Security Bulletin to address multiple vulnerabilities in the following products:

  • Foxit PDF Reader for Windows – version and prior
  • Foxit PDF Editor for Windows – version and versions prior to
  • Foxit PDF Reader for MAC – version and prior
  • Foxit PDF Editor for MAC – version and prior

Exploitation of these vulnerabilities could lead to information disclosure, arbitrary file creation, remote code execution, or cause a denial-of-service.

The Cyber Centre encourages users and administrators to review the provided web link and apply the necessary updates.
