On 4 May 2021 Dell published a Knowledge Base Article to address a vulnerability in the following product:
- Client Firmware Update Utility Packages and Tools – multiple platforms and versions
Exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an authenticated local actor to escalate privileges, perform a denial of service, or disclose of information.
The Cyber Centre encourages users and administrators to review the provided web link and apply the necessary updates when available.
